SEELE, The Beginning, the first
part
of the BETH Trilogy, is presented
here.
It is an extended prologue
really,
introducing the events and
decisions
which bring Beth into being.
An astounding
technology seemingly
primitive
in many ways, is
surreptitiously
introduced to Earth
science
in the first few years of the
21st
century, our time.
Over the
next eight decades that
technology
will be implemented
worldwide,
multifold, pervading
every
aspect of human existence.
BETH,
the second part of the story,
portrays
the beginning of a future
where
humankind has unknowingly
been
colonized by a power which
profoundly
alters the perception of
reality
and the laws of nature.
With the
exception of Beth, Earth is
completely
unaware of the true
nature
of the alien presence.
