4.  Tie Your Own Piece_Tie Piece Installation #1_Spectra

Acrylic Painted, Sewn Canvas Tubes, hung at various heights.  There are 9 painted tubes, 10’ lengths, 1 ½ inches in diameter, hung about 6” to 12” apart. The Installation becomes a “personal kinetic sculpture” constantly changing by the audience.
A signature board accompanies the piece, and is under the tie pieces for participants to sign as they take ownership in their own creative form.

5.  Rail Piece_Installation_UMA

Stable Tie Piece Installation set in the corner of the Pit Gallery.  Acrylic Painted, stuffed tubes, 1 ½ inch to 2 ½ inch in diameter, securely integrated into the designated space by the Artist.  20’ H X 10’ W.
Designated light extend dimensions into surrounding environment.

6.  Organic Ground_Gallery Opening Tie Piece_Waterville Art Gallery

Acrylic/Latex painted Canvas Tubes, 10’ to 20’ in length, 1 ½ “ to 2 ½” in diameter. “Personal kinetic sculpture” placed on the ground in front of the Gallery for Patrons to move, tie, and change form.

7.  Doors 1 & 3_Site Specific_Camden Hills

Natural fiber strings hung from trees on pathways.  Easy passage is created with an archway or shortened string opening.  Dimensions follow the natural contours of the selected space.

8.  Strings Attached_Room Size Installation_Orono

Natural Fabric and String Fiber panels, installed in the length of the room with two peg boards on both sides. Each panel is 8’ H  X  3’ W, Hooks in the peg board allow the participants to change the form of the piece.

9.  Tie Up DADA_Corinna Arts Festival_ 2006.

100% Cotton Piping, 2” diameter, cut into 25 strands, in lengths: 4’, 6’, 8’, 10’ and 12’.  “Personal Kinetic Sculpture” Signature sheet included for all participants to sign.
Groups or individuals would enter the room with 5 sets of stools mounted together in pairs, and a pile of strands on the table. 
Basic problem: Take the strands and connect the 5 Sets of Stools.
Secondary problem: Determine the length of the strand selected.
Groups and Individuals were documented with the piece created.
Individuals signed the Signature paper.

10.  Michelin Man or Mummy_Character Creation_Harlow Gallery 2007

100% Cotton Piping, 2” diameter, cut into 25 strands, in lengths: 4’, 6’, 8’, 10’ and 12’.  “Personal Kinetic Sculpture” 
Basic problem: Use Tie Pieces to Create a Character.
